Preventing Sickle Cell Disease: Information and Awareness for Young People

An informational and awareness session for young people, aimed at emphasizing the importance of attending consultations to better understand their situation regarding sickle cell disease, particularly through electrophoresis, in order to avoid entering relationships with a high risk of having children affected by the condition.
Highlights from Past Events
Thanks to the donations and contributions from generous individuals, annual campaigns are organized in northern Benin to
perform surgeries such as prosthetic implantations and other procedures aimed at alleviating the bone pain of individuals with sickle cell disease.
Given the large number of cases in the country, it is extremely difficult for many families to secure a spot, and at times,
the minimal fees required by the organization exceed what many parents can afford, leaving their children to suffer terribly. With your support,
we are committed to overcoming this challenge and helping as many people as possible affected by this disease.
